About
The International Symposium on Radiopharmaceutical Therapy (ISRT) 2026 — under the WARMTH Initiative — is a high‑impact regional program dedicated to advancing radiotheranostics, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic imaging across Africa. Hosted at the Loveworld Medical Center in Lagos, Nigeria, the symposium is organized in collaboration with the International Centers for Precision Oncology (ICPO) and the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI). The initiative targets multidisciplinary workforce development, strengthens clinical capacity, and supports policy‑level engagement for sustainable integration of radiopharmaceutical therapy.
The two-day event (28–29 August 2026) includes a hands‑on pre‑symposium workshop in radiopharmacy and clinical theragnostics, followed by a full scientific symposium addressing current barriers, opportunities, and the future of theragnostics in Africa. With expected attendance of 70–100 professionals from East and West Africa, this event offers a continental platform for learning, collaboration, and policy advancement.
